I thought I would raise this with you as there has been a lot of chat about this subject on various websites I go on, UKClimbing.com being one of the site and articles in photographic publications; some people do get bent right out of shape over this. They later settled at Monks Horton in Kent. Among their descendants is the Daniell family of Canterbury. My question is what happened to the original brass of Sir Walter Mauntell and his wife Lady Elizabeth? Are they still in the church? I visited Nether Heyford's church back in the 1980s and did not see the brasses. I hope to travel to Britain in 2013 and visit the village and church again. Thank you.
